About Canberra Arts Marketing

Canberra Arts Marketing (CAM) is a creative consortium with a membership of over 100 arts and cultural organisations arts in the ACT and Region. It is recognised as a leading arts marketing consortium locally, nationally and internationally.

CAM has been helping its arts community develop new audiences, improve marketing and business skills of those working in the creative industries, and promote the value of the arts since 1993.

It supports the growth of creative, sustainable arts organisations through strategic initiatives that increase and diversify audiences and encourage their ongoing support for the arts in Canberra and the region.

CAM is dedicated to the advancement of the arts in the ACT and region. It acknowledges the immense value of the arts to individuals and communities through cultural experience and economic benefit.

The organisation supports members through collaborative and cost effective, best practice marketing services, advocacy on behalf of the arts and the development of productive partnerships to support the arts.

A unique brand, Arts Around Canberra, has been developed to communicate and promote the diversity and value of its members’ offerings..

Canberra Arts Marketing is an incorporated association with Board members drawn from the membership. Staffing includes a full-time Director and part-time Administrator and Program Coordinators.

Canberra Arts Marketing is supported by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body and from the ACT Government through its arts funding program. Income is also generated from annual membership fees, service delivery and sponsorship.
