Thylacine Design at the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum

A Thylacine design Project, the new museum fit-out and permanent exhibition for the Australian Fossil and mineral Museum in Bathurst, NSW.

The museum houses as part of its collection, the world-renown private collection of fossils and minerals, which has been donated for permanent display by collector, Professor Warren Somerville. Special highlights of the exhibition include, a complete skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, which is central to a contemporary, energetic and theatrical display that intrigues, excites and informs visitors about the formation of minerals and the evolution of life.

The Thylacine design company, based in the Canberra Region, is noted for its innovative design and display solutions for major museums in Australia and several public art projects in Australia.
