Canberra Arts Marketing membership - Terms and other information

  • Canberra Arts Marketing (CAM) is an incorporated association. The objectives of the association are to provide arts marketing and related services to members, and to contribute to the development of arts marketing and arts management in the ACT and Canberra Region.  CAM supports the growth of creative, sustainable arts organisations through strategic initiatives that increase and diversify audiences and encourage their ongoing support for the arts in Canberra and the region.  It has developed a unique brand, Arts Around Canberra, and operates as a communication distribution and access point for the broader community supplying information online and in print about its members’ activities.

  • Membership of Canberra Arts Marketing Inc. is available to organisations interested in being a part of a consortium organisation.  The current membership includes arts festivals, national cultural institutions, commercial and funded galleries and museums, national touring organisations, music ensembles and orchestras, arts venues and facilities, theatre companies and performance groups, community, educational and tourism organisations and arts media.

  • Applications for membership must be made by completing the online form, or downloading the version available at ,,,,, and emailing, mailing or posting it to Canberra Arts Marketing Inc.

  • Membership fees are payable at the time of nomination.

  • Members of Canberra Arts Marketing Inc are entitled to certain membership benefits that may change from time to time and members will be advised of such changes by email and posted in the members' area of our website.

  • Membership fees are annual for a calendar year commencing 1 January and must be paid by 1 March, or membership will cease.

  • There are two categories of membership Category A applies to members whose annual budget is in excess of $ 50,000pa, with the fee for 2008 being $410 (including GST). Category B applies to organizations whose annual budget is less than $ 50,000pa, with the fee for 2007 being $199 (including GST). Applicants may be asked to provide proof of income in the form of annual audited accounts to apply for Category B membership.

  • Financial members are eligible for election to the Board at the Annual General Meeting.

  • Credit card payments are protected by 128bit SSL encryption. Canberra Arts Marketing does not receive or store credit card information.
